This is the BMX bike I have chosen to focus on during my Inquiry(left). I found it next to a bin in Petone; it was just going to be thrown away. Here it is.
Just an update of where I am with fixing the BMX. I have found a set of brand new orange grips, a new seat and a new frount wheel. The restoration is going well and should be completed by Sunday.
Saturday.
Finshed playing my Saturday sport and have now come home to take the paint off the BMX, couldn't do it with the wheels on(photos to prove).
Sunday.
Just finished getting the paint off, with water paper, and the grips off, with a professional. Still a hard job getting spray paint off, so tomorrow is another day.
Wednesday.
Completed spray painting the BMX. I think it looks awesome. But I'll let you make the comments below for your self, on how it looks.
